• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
• Set up and operate one or more CNC and Manual Metals spinning machines
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to perform the following for long periods of time: standing, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, twisting, and stretching are generally required to perform the functions of this position
• Must be willing and able to tolerate loud noise levels, heat in order to perform the functions of this position
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High school level (Secondary school) is mandatory and any diploma, degree, or trade certificates are advantages
